Last updated: 7 October 2026
This policy explains how Browser Games (browsergames.com.tr) processes personal data of visitors located outside Türkiye, in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK GDPR and other applicable privacy laws. Visitors in Türkiye are covered by our KVKK Privacy Notice.
1. Who we are
The controller of your personal data is Browser Games (browsergames.com.tr). Contact: [email protected].
2. What we collect
The site has no accounts, forms or payments, and we do not ask for your name or email address. We only process:
- Online identifiers: a random cookie ID set by Google Analytics and your IP address (used to derive approximate location; Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses).
- Device data: device type, operating system, browser, screen size and language.
- Usage data: pages viewed, games clicked, time spent in games, on-site searches, language choice, visit time and referring source.
3. Why we use it and our legal bases
| Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|
| Remembering your language and cookie choice | Legitimate interest / strictly necessary (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)) |
| Analytics: understanding which games are played and for how long, improving the site, fixing errors | EEA, UK, Switzerland: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) – analytics cookies are only set after you click "Accept". Other countries: our legitimate interest in improving the site (Art. 6(1)(f)); you can opt out at any time. |
We do not use your data for advertising, we do not build advertising profiles, and we do not sell or "share" personal information as defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA).
4. Who receives your data
- Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC – Google Analytics (analytics) and Google Fonts (font delivery).
- Cloudflare, Inc. – website hosting and delivery.
These providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Transfers are protected by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and/or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
5. How long we keep it
Google Analytics user- and event-level data is deleted automatically after 14 months. Google Analytics cookies expire after at most 2 years. Language and cookie preferences stay in your browser until you clear them.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you have the right to access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to processing, data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier processing. You can also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Because we only hold pseudonymous analytics data, please include as much detail as possible (e.g. the approximate date of your visit) when contacting us at [email protected].
7. Managing cookies
You can change your choice at any time on our Cookie Policy page or via "Cookie settings" at the bottom of the home page. You can also block cookies in your browser or install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
8. Children
The site is intended for a general audience. Apart from the anonymous analytics described above, we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country).
9. Changes
We may update this policy; the date at the top shows the latest version.
